Idyllwild Jazz In The Pines was the vision of two music lovers and beloved Associates, the late Lin Carlson and Barbara Wood, who wanted to find a way to promote America’s original art form -- jazz, and raise money for scholarships for the Idyllwild Arts Academy and Summer Program. Seventeen years ago, they got together with today’s Jazz Musical Director, Marshall Hawkins, and the rest is history.

Our official kick-off is the Patron’s Dinner Dance on Friday, August 27. Tickets for this exclusive event are $225, and include admission to both days of the Festival, special reserved Patron’s seating, and parking. Patron tickets can be purchased through this website or call (951) 500-4090. Come and enjoy a great evening of gourmet food, fine wine, special music to dance away the night and a great start to your jazz weekend.

Our Saturday Night Feast & Jazz Jam will again be held at Nelson Hall.  Every year the Jazz festival gets better and better, and we think this upbeat, accessible and fun addition will be a smashing success. Seating is limited. Tickets are $25; purchase yours early here, or by calling (951) 500-4090.
